z-wave water detector- Controller 1 cannot be set to Association Group 1

Calin Birtocean 7 years ago in Devices / Z-Wave updated by Jure Lahajnar 7 years ago 13

Hello,

I have a z-wave water detector for which the Controller 1 cannot be set to Association Group 1, therefore the alarms and device status are not communicated to bOS.

I have tried several times to restore sensor to the factory default settings, include, exclude, delete then click discovery, soft reset the controller, wake up the device, run Refresh Configuration from the Functions tab.

Am I missing something? Do I have any other options on having the Controller 1 set to Association Group 1?

iOS Connection problem

Beaufay Gauthier 7 years ago in bOS Client updated 7 years ago 6

Hello,

I 've got problem to connect 2 IPads to grinder via bOS Client.

Only one is connected, the other one can't connect.

Server is updated 4.4.0 to 4.4.2: same problem.

IOs is updated 11.3: same problem.

Profile deleted and recreated: same problem.

App deleted and reinstall: same problem.

IPads had the same name, rename in App settings: same problem.

IPads are true in the local network but false in online.

How many connections are possible with the same user?

if i create a different user, will it works ?

Any ideas of the problem ?

Use RCP to change time events on a Schedule task

Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 7 years ago in bOS Configurator / Tasks updated 7 years ago 5

Hi,

Let's say I have a Schedule task for a certain object.

Is it possible to set the Time events for that Schedule task using RPC?

The use case for now is not important, I'm just trying to develop an idea with bOS + Tasker (Android).

Best regards

Jigsaw programming KNX devices

Guillem Morey 7 years ago updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 7 years ago 1

Hello, again. I have just make an integration and I had an issue. One step was programming KNX devices (via USB), then plug Jigsaw , all correct, then I added new KNX devices and when one KNX device was in programming mode (OA 15.15.255) I was unable to program them ETS said two devices in programming mode, I unpluged Jigsaw from KNX bus and then it works. It just happened with OA 15.15.255, then I tried with a device with OA asigned in programing mode and there was no problem.

If I check devices in programing mode with ETS, without any device in programming mode, there no one, but if there is new device (OA 15.15.255) then ETS detect two devices in programing mode (if Jigsaw is plugged).

Regards.

ecobee thermostat -support request

Calin Birtocean 7 years ago in bOS Configurator / Devices updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 6 years ago 1

Hello,

With the rapid increase in popularity for the ecobee thermostat, we are wondering if ComfortClick would be able to support this thermostat.

We are looking for basic functions such as read of the current temperature, thermostat mode(heat, cool, off), etc.

Ecobee uses an open API, https://www.ecobee.com/home/developer/api/introduction/index.shtml

It allows to add a new app under the developer tab and authenticate it.

Using the HTTP device in bOS, you are able to poll some data.

Could you please advise and provide some guidance if using the available devices/functions in bOS the basic values(temperature, mode, etc.) could be extracted.

Thank you,

Calin

Sliding bar Rising/Falling

Guillem Morey 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 2

Hi, Maybe I don't understand how does it worls, but if I select horizontal sliding bar changes in vertical mode, and viceversa. In other hand if slider is horizontal (I see vertical) change percent type bar from Rising to Falling, or viceversa, it works but if slider is vertical( I see it horizontal) change percent type bar don't do anything.

Regards and Thanks.

Ring Doorbell

Erik Roosch 7 years ago in bOS Configurator / Devices updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 7 years ago 1

I have two wireless Ring Doorbell devices and can access these through the Ring Android or Windows apps.

I also have a wireless Chinese webcam.

Is it possible to also interface these devices to bOS? How to approach this?

Honeywell Galaxy Flex

Erik Roosch 7 years ago in bOS Configurator / Devices updated by ComfortClick Support 7 years ago 1

I have a Honeywell Galaxy Flex alarm system in my house. It is fairly dated but works fine. It is connected to my router through Ethernet cable, has an IP address etc. I can access the console and control the system using the Honeywell Android app.

However is it possible to interface to bOS? How are alarm systems interfaced anyway?
