ngrok as alternative for port forwarding
I'm owner of JIGSAW device without possibility to get public IP address. While looking for workarounds I have found the ngrok service which offers tunnels accessible via URL links. As long as I understand JIGSAW is simply raspberry pi device with custom linux os running under the hood. I wonder if I could login to the device using the ssh to access the root account for purpose of installation and setup of ngrok service. Will you be able to share those? Is ssh access enabled?
Shutdown Jigsaw from bOS Client or UPS
Hi,
Its possible to shutdown Jigsaw from Bos Client or with UPS conection?
I want to shutdown Jigsaw when UPS is about to finish battery charge and have safety stop. Even with a button in bOS Client should be fine.

User messaging limits
Hey,
I would need to limit the Users to send messages to everyone(User still should be able to send message to the admin, but not to other users/apartments) thru the bOS app internal events messaging.
We have hotel project where the clients have started to misuse the feature by spamming jokes and memes in there - to everyone ofc, now the Hotel is asking me to turn it off but there is no option for that.

Brand new Jigsaw - Not working out of the box
Hello team,
Got a brand new Jigsaw from our local distributor on 31 July, but only today I got the chance to connect it to my network to start working on the costumer project.
Unfortunately it doesn't work. It boots up, it shows up on the device discovery, saying it has IP address 192.168.1.11, but it doesn't ping the device, neither connects to it. A port scan doesn't show any open ports available.
Already done a hard reset 3 times, network reset also 3 times, and my network is ok.
Please advice, because the distributor is on vacation until 21st August, and I have to start the project this week.
HELP!
Slow server response during screen editing
Hi,
Editing some frames, suddenly the server started to answer very slow. In the end the configurator showed me an "out of memory" message. I was able to start again the configurator but the server was still moving very slow. Even the commands to different equipment were sent with delays. I've restarted the server and now seems to be OK.
It first starts showing me different messages like the one below and at the end crashes showing the "out of memory" message. I've reported the same in a previous post ("out of memory bug") with some more screenshots.
By the way, are there any limitation in the number of displays defined on a bOS Colibri server? Does anybody have some limitation list for this (number of devices, number of programs used, etc...).
Regards,
Laurentiu
Out of memory bug
Hello,
This morning I was able to make some changes in my project, but I have received Out of memory ERROR message. I made backup and have done reload in configurator. After all I was logged out from configurator and wasn't able to connect back. I did service monitor restart, but it didn't helped, then I did full server reload, but still can't connect. Can you tell me how to solve this problem? It is mine the biggest project and all apartments just crashed.
All the data about server is correct, User is correct and Password also correct.
Waiting to yours soonest answer.
Best regards,
Artjom

is there an issue with registering the free server software version?
Jigsaw - Problems with email, weather, http devices
Hello everyone,
I think probably most of the problems I'm describing here were mentioned in other posts, but it's getting really problematic, and I'm looking forward for you attention:
I'm using Grinder servers on every costumer, but I have a Jigsaw at home, running version 4.6.26, and there's where I'm getting all of these errors / bugs.
My internet service is quite unstable to be honest, and I need to reboot the router quite often. But the electricity is stable, and Jigsaw is operational with almost none reboots. At first, I thought that problem might be from the unstable internet, but now I'm stating to think that the problem may be software based.
The local and remote access to the Jigsaw is ok, and never had any problems with that.
The problem is that I've noticed that I have several services which actually don't work, or just work from time to time. And they are:
SMTP Email sending
My Jigsaw doesn't send any emails... Gmail, own mail server, nothing works. Today I've tested exactly the same SMTP configuration on my local laptop bOS server, and it works. But not on the Jigsaw. It doesn't show any error, it just doesn't do anything.
Reload and reboot doesn't solve anything.
I think I probably just seen my Jigsaw sending 1 successful email, and that was kind of several weeks ago.
Weather service
My weather service also doesn't work. Most of the times I see an empty error image of the weather on the visualization. On the weather node, if I add my City name on the location name, it disappears.
HTTP Devices
Simple stuff like making an HttpRequest on a Task or Http Device, without any authentication, doesn't work.
Example of a HttpRequest not working:
https://api.thingspeak.com/update?api_key=xxxxxxxxxx&field1=100
Resuming:
Reboot, Reload, Factory Reset, none of this actually helped at first.
With a fresh Jigsaw factory reset, I had the same problems.
Then, after a configuration restore, my email started to work. And apparently weather too. The question is, for how long. Because it happened before.
Is there something wrong on Jigsaw code? Isn't bOS sharing the same code that on Grinder? I assume that the software is developed in .NET and using Mono on Jigsaw or something.
The question here is, am I the only one with problems? If not, has anyone noticed this issues? Or am I being too picky?
My configuration is not that complex. It's true that I do a lot of testing, and complex logic, etc, but the configuration and visualization is pretty "light" actually, so I know I'm not pushing too hard the Jigsaw.
Best regards
