When trying to update from server version 4.8.20 to 4.9.17, I get following error :

Devices : 08/11/2022 12:50:13 : Event : Server : Error running server update. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at BOSServer.Gateway.GatewayClient.Stop()
at BOSServer.BOSServerMain.Close()
at BOSServer.Helpers.UpdatesHandler.DownloadCompleted(Object sender, AsyncCompletedEventArgs e)

Any suggestion ?

I've been a happy user of the jigsaw device (CC-J-1) for nearly 5years now. However, after a recent update the system does not seem to communicate anymore with the network and I can't connect to the device anymore.  I've performed several network scans but the device won't appear.  The UTP indicator lights are not flashing. In the mean time the device kept executing the timed tasks on KNX. 

To resolve the issues I've reset the device, I think successfully as it is no longer executing its KNX tasks, but the system will still not appear in the network.  As if it is unable to communicate, I have replaced the UTP cable and have connected it directly to the main modem. No success. 

is there anything else I can or try to bring the device back to working order?

I want to use RPC to trigger a function. 

I've seen a POST data example that you suggested on a document : 

{"objectName":"Building\General\Users\User","functionName":"SendAlert","value":["'Hello'"]}

I want to run a RunFromClient() of a program : so, there are no parameter / value to send in the function. 

I've tried {"objectName":"Tasks\\beds24\\THStartHeating","functionName":"RunFromClient()","value":"true"} but it's not working. Could you confirm the syntax when there are no value to send within the function ?

I have noticed that my bOS server is not being updated. I don't really know if it is a conexion issue but is very strange....

Everything started with a problem of conexion to the server and I realized that my internet provider changed my IP address. I have the dinamic IP configured in the comfortClick web page but I changed the IP address shown there. There is something strange there as my server continued appearing off line... But anyway, the bOS client worked....

After a while I realized that the weather application was not working and digging into the problem (is not working jet) I found out that my server is not being updated ... I have the version 4.8.15 and the current one is 4.9.13. I tried in the configuration and it is saying that is up to date...

Can any one help? What if I download the new version and i try to reinstall it? Is the program going to warn me and update with any configuration losses?

Hello, 

I'm getting a "Login error. Please verify your username and password" on my server which I was able to access yesterday. 

I tried with 2 different users, and I tried from bOS client and from bOS configurator : same result. 

Of course, I haven't modified any user name / password. 

Any ideas where that could come from ? 

I don't currently have access to the server, Grinder, as I'm not on site.  I was wondering whether this could come from Windows as I know sometimes it's doing weird updates ? 

I don't have any issues on my other servers, Linux based (Jigsaws)

Hi All. Just started today to get the error ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH when I access through https.

This also makes Alexa not to work.

How can I solve this? I'm using windows 7 as a server.

I performed Jigsaw update using BOS Configurator. As it was not showing any progress, I've closed the configurator. This was done by 1AM. When I woke up the next day at 8AM, I was unable to connect to the server using BOS Configurator neither the browser. Server is responding ping requests (I've tied its MAC address to a fixed IP using my Ubiquiti network controller), but after running a portscan, I see it listening only to TCP ports 22, 5355 and 6720. I have reset the system by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds, restarted the server, and no progress. Is there any other way to bring the server back to the factory defaults? Maybe SSH access could help in here.

I have a ComfortClick bOS server installation running on a Windows Virtual Machine and need to move it to a new machine/Windows installation. 
Is there any step by step guide of how to do this? Or can you give me some hint and tips before starting?

1. Take backup of existing installation (4.8.20)

2. Install bOS server v 4.9.6 on new Windows machine 
3. Import backup from old installation to new
4. License?

if i set up the Public address with my Domain exaple.myhome.net the Public address switch automatically back to my public IP address.

I use an proxy server to secure my test installation therefore i all HTTPS calls need to use the Domain name.

Is this a normal behavior or did i something wrong.

Hello everybody. 
I am having some issues after update the bOS server to 4.9 version. For example I can’t connect remotely for programming from Ets the KNX.  Also some buttons doesn’t responses at all. They take feedback values on or percentages values  in visualisation that aren’t existing and they don’t go to off. I had some KNX disconnections and I assumed that I had to change the KNX connection from IP KNX to jigsaw but some buttons steel aren’t working.
