problem connecting to bOS client by IOS devices

Hello, our customer face inability to connect to the bOS client by IOS devices (IPAD and iphone) from several devices. it used to work and now doesnt work at all. 433 is open and we have no problem to connect from any place with any devices.

if he connect by web page it works fine.

i have the feeling that this is something with the IOS device, something that relate to issue with the configuration of the device.

does anyone face such an issue? any suggestion?

iOS client cannot connect

Hello,

I have a Grinder, a Jigsaw Z-Wave, and a Jigsaw KNX. The 3 servers run bOS V4.4.4 and they are on different location / houses. 

I'm using multiple iPads and Android tablets in each locations ; everything is working fine.

 

I'm using the same iPhone - my iPhone- in the 3 locations. 

On the Grinder and Jigsaw KNX, no issues at all. 

On the Jigsaw Z-Waver, my iPhone doesn't want to connect. I have to remove profiles on the bOS client, on the server, and reboot, to be able to connect back for a while... and then it's stuck again, and I have to remove profiles everywhere and reboot. And again again and again. Any ideas how to fix this once for good ?

Controls not updated

Hi,

In a recent installation, I'm facing a weird problem, that occurs randomly. Some of the UI controls / labels are not being live updated while staying on the page.

Let me explain:

For example, in a certain page, I have several heating controls, temperature labels, setpoint, and the valves status.

I've noticed, that sometimes I turn on or off some random heating zones (turn on or off the room thermostat), and the valves turn on or off, but sometimes the valve status icons are not updated (but they are being updated on the BUS, as I can see them on ETS). So it's like, a status is true on ETS, and the icon shows as false on bOS.

But if I click on the that page menu link, like I'm entering again on the page, then the valve icons now show with the correct status. This only happens from the bOS side, and in random icons.

I've restarted the server, but nothing changed.


Anyone with something similar?

Android apk and browser bug

Hey,


I found a weird bug on the weekend with my home bOS server.
When I tried to connect to my server with android apk I got a error: "OnCallBack: TypeError: Cannot read property 'ShowForm' of undefined"
I got this message even with chrome webrowser on android, but i could connect to other servers with my phone so the bug was only on my server... On PC i could connect to my server just fine though, only android couldnt connect.
When I restarted my phone it started to work again. I did not change anything else on the server or on the phone.

Slow rendering while loading app

Hi CC team,


I've noticed that sometimes, mainly because of a slow internet connection, when opening the app it "struggles" to load stuff.


The result, is a slow load of icons, menus etc.


Once it loads, it works normally. But the hiccups while loading are not pretty. It's like the "same" effect when opening a slow internet website, it loads the images very slow, etc.


This is not an app problem, neither a development problem, but an internet speed problem.


I had that problem in my own webpage. So, to "solve" the problem, I've used JavaScript onload function and some other JS magic, and used a simple loading animated icon. This would allow me to not show anything until all the html content is loaded.


Do you think it could be cool to do something like this on the app?

Bug with admin menu

Hello,

I created a project with 1 theme containing 1 panel containing : 

- 5 simple panels, the 4th one being tagged as "admin only"

- 3 panels containing sub-panels


From the Android or bOS clients, I couldn't access the last sub-panel from the bottom menu. I could access it though from a panel link.


I turned the "admin only" flag off, and I was able to access the last sub-panel. Since I needed to restrict access to this panel, I activated the "pin" feature. So, that's ok, although I would have preferred the panel to disappear completely from the menu. 


Just to let you know this minor bug that you may want to fix.
