Variable HTTP Header in PUT Command

Lee Douglas 7 years ago in Devices / Http updated by ComfortClick Support 7 years ago 4

Working on integration with the HIVE system from British Gas.

I need to send a "login" command through the API to receive a SessionID.

Which I can do easily in bOS.

I then need to pass this SessionID into each later command as a header for authorisation. As the SessionID varies every 30 minutes or so, I need to have the "SessionID" as a variable Header in later commands.

Are you able to amend Config to allow for variables in POST command headers?

(I note we can already use variables in several other places of the command, just not the header which I need).

Specifics:

URL is: https://api-prod.bgchprod.info:443/omnia/nodes

Command is GET.

The header I need to use is:

Content-Type: application/vnd.alertme.zoo-6.0+json
Accept: application/vnd.alertme.zoo-6.0+json
X-Omnia-Client: Hive Web Dashboard
X-Omnia-Access-Token: Irg6fxvdBrhE0xewMiGJxo4

Where the final highlighted section varies every 30 minutes.

BACnet Priorities, Integration of 3rd party devices

Mohamad Shumal 3 weeks ago in bOS Configurator updated by Jürgen Jürgenson 2 weeks ago 1

Hello everyone,

I am currently using Jigsaw Pro for home automation and have integrated a Siemens PXC4 controller along with an RDG260KN/BK thermostat via BACnet/IP. While the integration works well overall, I’ve encountered a couple of challenges related to BACnet write priorities and multistate commands.

Challenge 1: BACnet Write Priority

When writing values, such as temperature setpoints or operation modes, to the Siemens controller through Jigsaw Pro, the values seem to be written at BACnet priority 8. This priority level acts as a manual override in the Siemens PXC4 controller. However, for my application, I need these values to be written at BACnet priority 13, which corresponds to normal operation without overriding.

I’ve tested the PXC4 using BACnet browsers like Yabe and Siemens BACnet Browser, and I can successfully write values at priority 13 from those tools. I’m wondering if Jigsaw Pro supports specifying the write priority for BACnet points and, if so, how this can be configured within the system.

Challenge 2: Multistate BACnet Commands

In addition, I need to configure a multistate BACnet point for the thermostat's operation mode. Specifically, I want to send:

  • Value 2 for Off
  • Value 5 for Cooling

Could someone guide me on how to configure these specific multistate commands in Jigsaw Pro? I also need to ensure that these commands are written at BACnet priority 13.

I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions from the community or the ComfortClick support team to help resolve these issues.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Switch on a scene using movement detector task

Simen Hagen 3 weeks ago in bOS Configurator / Tasks updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 1 week ago 1

Hi, I tried to use the movement detector task to trigger a scene. The status of the scene updates to ON when the movement detector value is true, but not the actual brightness values of the lights implemented in the scene. Is there a feedback that needs to programmed?

Also I use a KNX switch to actuate the same scene, KNX switch sends a 1byte telegram to trigger the scene, the scene contains both 1byte ''brightness values'' and 1bit ''switching'' group adresses for lights. This works fine.

What is the best way to integrate a movement detector? I want the scene to work both from the KNX switch and the KNX movement detector.

Regards
