confortclick in knx house project with 3 floors

DENYEL MOTA 3 years ago in Devices / KNX updated 3 years ago 2

I would like to know if could comfortclick  read my project from a house with 3 floors ?

In this house I´m using two line couplers, connecting first floor to second and second to third

I have a push button in level one that connect with actuator on level two, they are conected through a line coupler. Does Comfortclick read this information and make it work ?

Failed reconnection with KNX after reload

UCV DOMO 3 years ago in Devices / KNX updated 3 years ago 2

Hello everyone.

I know there are already posts about it, but I don't see a problem similar to the one I currently have in any of them.

I have a Jigsaw connected to KNX by bus cable.

The problem is that sometimes due to power outages the Jigsaw and the KNX bus go down and not always but on certain occasions when both systems are up. the Jigsaw is not capable of lifting the link with KNX indefinitely and the only solution that can be applied is to restart the Jigsaw and at that moment it raises the link between both systems again.

Is there any way through a program, task or function that allows forcing to deactivate and reactivate the knx connection when it detects that the link is down? Or failing that, to be able to send some kind of Jigsaw restart through some function that “wakes up” the connection with KNX?

Thank you

DSC IT-100 baud rate

Calin Birtocean 3 years ago in Devices / DSC updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 3 years ago 5

Hi guys,

The default baud rate comes as 9600 for the DSC IT-100. Do you have any tips on how to change it to 19200 for virtual keypad?

Could it be done using the key pad PK5500?

Thanks,

Calin

Connecting to KNX

Nathan Meinck 3 years ago in Devices / KNX updated by ComfortClick Support 3 years ago 1

Hi I'm having trouble connecting to KNX devises. I'm using Jigsaw, created a KNX devise and set  Connection Type 'Jigsaw', enabled the devise and it says connected.

Successfully imported the ETS file, the devise 'Hall Light' says not connected.

Any guidance / pointers would be much appreciated?

Shelly & TCP listener

Krzysztof Szczepański 3 years ago in Devices / Basic updated 2 years ago 1

I have a little problem integrating Shelly through the tcp server

Shelly integration is in your libraries https://www.comfortclick.com/BOS/Library/Devices/115

Everything works fine except the listener.

The listener is configured as a tcp server, accepts connections but does not respond and does not close the session which causes Shelly to hang.

Shelly expects any response from the host or session closure.

I did the tests using https://docs.microsoft.com/pl-pl/dotnet/api/system.net.sockets.tcplistener?view=net-6.0

If the listener answers the call from Shelly or closes the session, everything works fine.

Conversely, when the host accepts the call and nothing returns or closes the session, Shelly stops sending calls to the host and suspends Shelly until a reset. Shelly appears to be waiting for any information from the host, without it being able to complete the routine.

In the code from the MS website from lines 45 to 63 there is a procedure that sends back to the client what the client sent, while on line 64 the connection is closed.

Removing these lines causes the problem and probably simulates comfortclicka operation.

Is there any call that will get a reply from comfortclick's website eg http://192.168.1.10/comfortclickreply?par=1?

Alternatively, you could add a checkbox as an option - "Send this message as confirmation:", "message" ?
