RPC not working

Fredrik Sandblom 5 years ago updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 5 years ago 9

After update to 4.6.24 I'm unable to get RPC working. I have tried the "new place" of enabling RPC and also the old settings.txt but no RPC is bound. Checking with ex. netstat port 81 is not bound,

Newest BETA. Jigsaw stopped working

Joachim 6 years ago updated by ComfortClick Support 6 years ago 1

So. I'm of the impatient type and just had to test the recent beta release. 🤣😤

All devices were lost. Just the folders in the configurator was left.

In the add devices dialog just two devices availible. LG and Samsung TV.

Tried the "repair server option" and now the device has stopped working all together.

It responds on ping but gives "error connecting" in the configurator.

Now what? Is it poossible to make a fresh install on the SD card from a PC? Reset button?

Reliability of automations. Simple daily automation triggers on random days.

Joachim 6 years ago updated by Fabien Fuster 6 years ago 12

I'm having trouble getting simple automations to work reliable.

Example:

I want to switch on and off my outside lamps (two KNX devices) using the Sun variables.

I have tried using "Sun.Day" without success and now I'm trying the Sun.NotDay variable.

Here is my program task:

Here is the current values of the Sun:

And here you see my lights are currently still on: (!)

Why?

I have made a button in my visu to run the program and when I push it the lights turn on/off instantly. So for some reason it does not trigger correctly.

Suggestions?

KNX blind with tension free contact

Antonio Cano 6 years ago updated by Ricardo Pinto | visiontech pt 6 years ago 4

Hi,

I want to "press a button" in Comfortclik, to open a Blind, that send to knx a True and False command (in the same order o comand in knx 1/1/10), the two commands, one after another. Why that? Because the blind need a contact without tension (on + off in knx) the same like a lock.

In KNX I have that in a command that commands "on" when I press the button and commands "off" when I stop pressing.

Can somebody help me?

Thanks :)

Biamp Tesira Forte integration

Alex K. 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 2

I am trying to control a Biamp Tesira Forte device.

Biamp has an API that supports connection through telnet and ssh.

If you make a telnet connection no username/password is needed.

You just paste the command press enter and the command is executed.

The command that I send is Level3 increment level 1 5. It increases the volume on the first audio output channel.

I use a Basic device to build my connection but the command fails.

Using a Basic device the telnet connection is established when I send the command?

I am asking because it takes some time for the Biamp to print its telnet banner and let you input a command so maybe that's why my command fails.

Is there a way to add a delay before sending the command?

Also the returned data is scrambled characters and I don't understand what is says.

Send a command twice

Alex K. 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 7

Hello,

I am using a demo installation of comfortclick. I am trying to power on/off a Sony monitor through a global cache device (GC-100-12).

I have built an ir receiver with an arduino.

When I press the power on/off button I get these two commands.

A90
Decoded SONY: A90 (12 bits)
Raw (26): 2400 -600 1200 -600 600 -550 1200 -600 600 -600 1150 -600 600 -600 600 -550 1200 -600 600 -600 550 -600 600 -600 600

From what I see it is the same command send twice, I guess to avoid false positives.

I have configured the command to comfortclick and I can send the command, this is what I get when I receive the command with my ir receiver.

The problem is that the monitor doesn't power up.

I think I need to send the command twice to power it up.

How can I achieve this through comfortclick?
