Date and Time Format

Oriol Pascual 3 years ago in bOS Configurator updated by ComfortClick Support 3 years ago 1

Hey,

I am doing an integration with a WebAPI that is requesting the Date Header for every command. This Date Header must be in RFC822 format which looks like this:

Mon, 12 Jul 2021 13:12:15

Can Comfort Click provide the data in this format or do I have to hardcode "Day of Week" and "Month" to be able to build this format?

mDNS reply reading via Basic driver.

Artem Kuteynikov 3 years ago in Devices / Basic updated 3 years ago 2

Hello,

a device publishes its services as mDNS message/reply, is there a chance to fetch data from such message?

As far as i can see mDNS utilizes UDP, but Basic driver configured as: Udp, Device_ip_address, src_port_number (as remote port), dst_port_number (as local port), ASCII, text, won`t do any good. Sniffer shows that device posts requests/replies which contain data i need though.

Thanks.

Automatic frames refresh not working

Paul G 3 years ago in bOS Configurator / Themes updated 3 years ago 2

It's happening again, thought it was a dejabuuu, but not.

Frames updates do not get passed to the Master Theme, we're using the latest BOS version. in order to get the Theme the latest frame it is require to edit the Master theme so BOS forces a refresh of the already modified Theme

a) Current modified frame

Analog log threshold limits - No documentation

Paul G 3 years ago in bOS Configurator updated by Jürgen Jürgenson 3 years ago 2

Hi,

BOS documentation states the following for analog logs:

HighLowThresholds: Separate high limit and low limits. If Input Value > Higher Limit output is set to True. If Input Value < Lower Limit output is set to False

Well, the question is what BOS does when the input value is between the higher limit and the lower limit, there is no documentation for such at all. THere are three possible outcomes, but again, no documentation, anyone knows this?

Connect bOS to KNX

nguyen nguyen 3 years ago in Devices / KNX updated by ComfortClick Support 3 years ago 1

Hi Ad,

I'm learning the connection between a bOS and a device with KNX protocol.
How many devices can the bOS be connected to via KNX?
If you have a sample configuration of bOS and KNX device, please share it with me.

Thanks & Best Regards.

Export SQL

Paul G 3 years ago in bOS Configurator updated by Tanel Matsi 2 years ago 8

Surely not many of us tend to export data from the graphs, but when it happens and you update data on the SQL lite export, it is a lottery to guess when the updated database will be recognised by BOS or when it will simply be ignored.

The below table is backed-up, a record in the table updated, database record written and ACK, database closed, then restored and......chan, BOS says it has imported the data (i.e. no error) but BOS has no data on the table. Unfortunately this is not the first time this happens, it is random, apparently, but surely there is a pattern driven more than likely by "puntuaction" marks in the source code which are not properly interpreted -this has been quite usual-

In this case, and due to the lack of any manuals, it looks like BOS must be storing a foreign key ID somewhere linked to some databases, which makes the restore process ignore the data. Effectively once the table is uploaded, BOS shows nothing despite there is data, and if you export the "empty" table the file created has actually data, so definitively something hidden in the way BOS handles the data files which hinders the ability to modify records.......

BOS version: 4.8.15, but this has been happening in previous versions already

Z-wave Schlage Connect door lock BE469ZP

Calin Birtocean 3 years ago in Devices / Z-Wave updated by ComfortClick Support 1 year ago 6

Hello,

I am seeking some help on including the z-wave door lock.

I have followed these instructions:

  1. Exclude your lock from your hub. The lock might have partially pair to the hub. Doing an exclusion will help the lock forget that it is paired, so an inclusion can be successful.
  2. Factory reset your lock. This step will delete any programming, so you will have to add codes back to the lock
  3. Move the lock closer to the hub. When pairing, the ideal distance is 6ft or less. You can remove the lock away from the door to pair if you can't relocate the hub. Then reinstall after pairing is complete.
  4. Pair your lock to your hub. This step is best to be preformed with your Z-wave hub's customer service. They might have additional steps if this is a master node system.

https://www.schlage.com/en/home/faq.html?id=131805

https://instructions.allegion.com/instr/86/3540

However, in doesn't get fully included. The node is partially included and a red led instead of a green led is flashing on the lock at the end of inclusion. A green led flashing would indicate a successfully added process.

Some instructions refer to DSK Code https://instructions.allegion.com/instr/86/3549 and I was wondering if bOS is looking for this code in order to fully include the node.

Is there also a possibility also that the z-wave driver for bOS has to be updated to include this device in the catalog?

Thank you,

Calin
