Modbus devices with different properties in one bus.

Hello,

is it possible to communicate with devices in the same bus, which have different settings (for example: Low Word First)? Could Data settings of Modbus driver be implemented on Slave node?

And a possibility to disable any Slave (for commissioning or testing) so that server won`t see an error, would be convenient.

Hello,

you can not communicate with devices in the same bus with different settings. You can use multiple Modbus lines and multiple Modbus drivers.

Ok. But due to different manufacturers map registers differently, is there a chance you implement settings for Slave node as it`s done in SCADA systems (Regin EXOscada for example)?

Multiple lines are good, but cost ineffective.
