bOS Bacnet ID

Enrico Salmaso 2 weeks ago in bOS Configurator / Devices updated 5 days ago 4

Hi all!

At an installation, the fire system was changed to a Siemens Cerberus.
Their system communicates in BACnet but needs to know the BACnet ID of the system that queries it.

How do I set the ComfortClick (physical JigsawPro machine) to have the Bacnet ID that they associated with me?
I can't find anything about it in the settings.

Thanks

Hey

If you use MS/TP then you can change the ID from here. I never used Cerberus but on Daikin only the Masters IP is needed for IPUDP connection.

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately I'm using BACnet over IP.

I'll try "forcing" the MS/TP to the required ID and then reset the IP connection, hoping it will maintain it and then I can connect to the remote station.

NOTE: Incidentally, the MaxMaster is the maximum number of devices present in the MS/TP line while the SourceAddress is the address of the ComfortClick!!

Yep I marked the wrong setting. But maybe the address 0 works on IPUDP too. Worth a try.

I've run some tests, but the Jigsaw machine doesn't change its ID, so I remain invisible from the fire alarm control panel and can't communicate with it.

Unless changes are made in the near future, I'll have to install an external Bacnet IP device to read the control panel.
