Where can I download old versions of bOS Configurator

Francois Lesueur 2 years ago in bOS Configurator updated by ComfortClick Support 2 years ago 3

Hello,

I have some servers that are using older version of bOS Configurator.

bOS configurator will download the correct version, but once logged out, it doesn't keep that old version. And each time I connect it will have to download the old version.

Is there a way I can download an old version so that it connects directly and doesn't have to download the version ?

Thanks

François

Hello Francois,

how old are we talking? 4.4.4? All newer servers (4.8.xxx) will allow you to download the same version of the config as the server and you should be able to connect to the server normally. When connecting to newer server, newer config will then be installed and so on...

If you already downloaded the version, next time you will want to connect, it will ask you to downgrade, you confirm that, but the configurator will just switch to the version of the server so you will be able to connect.

For our older versions, you can find all data and info in the link below

Also located if you go to our website, open bOS server and click the Upgrade instructions.

Best regards,

Hello,

I'm on server 4.7.0 while the configurator is 4.8.20.

Yes, it will download the right version of the configurator and that's neat - but the older version doesn't stay on the PC : it's necessary to download it each time.

That's why I would like to install the 4.7.0 version so that I don't have a message each time I connect.

Thanks,

François

Hello Francois,

you can try and go to your bOS Config installation folder and copy it on your desktop. Use the .exe file from the folder to launch the server that's running an older version. Use the installed config to connect to servers running the current version.

Hope this helps.
